The International School of Choueifat, Khalifa City opened its doors in September 2006 in Khalifa City A with approximately 60 students. By the end of the first academic year the number of students increased to 192. The school is situated on a spacious campus in Khalifa City A on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City. Like its sister SABIS^® schools, The International school of Choueifat, Khalifa City is a multinational, non-selective, co-educational, independent, English medium day school serving both the local and multinational communities and catering for students from the age of 3 years to 15 plus (KG to Grade 10).Currently, the school serves approximately 670 students of 43 different nationalities.

This purpose-built school offers world class standard educational facilities. These state-of-the-art facilities include three main classroom buildings equipped with computer and science laboratories, an art room, a library and an examination hall. Adjacent to the school is an indoor multipurpose air conditioned sports hall (badminton, basketball, volleyball, netball courts) and an indoor semi-Olympic swimming pool. The outdoor sports facilities include two grass football fields, basketball courts, a covered table tennis area and shaded play areas. The KG department is an independent unit with its own indoor swimming pool, covered play area and a special KG car track.
